Tea Shows Promise in Alzheimer's Fight

Their findings, published in the Journal 'Phytotherapy Research', show that black and green tea affect the actions of a few enzymes known to have involvement in the disease.
The effects from green tea were broader and longer-lasting than those of black tea, even though both worked in ways similar to some existing Alzheimer's drugs.
Dr. Ed emphasized that there is still no cure for Alzheimer's and that the hope is to further research and develop tea into a pharmaceutical tool if the early promise pays off.
