It turns out that the old "protection" from being brainwashed by radio waves sent out by the CIA and various unnamed government agencies has been soundly debunked by scientists at MIT.

According to them, the foil hats (double-walled, even) Reduced radiowave signals across the entire usable spectrum by up to 10db. -A 3db change either way, would be deemed significant.

It just so happens that these frequency bands are reserved for government satellites, GPS and some wireless/cordless phones. Coincidence? -You Be The Judge!

The results were even consistent across multiple hat designs, so don't you just go thinking the NSA can't remotely program you because of your unique Fez/Turban/Prussian Lightningrod hybrid; they still might!!!

It would seem the only reasonable countermeasure now would be a full-scale, grounded Faraday Cage, possibly double-walled, worn 24/7. Even though a full 1/2 inch thick lead helmet would probably block anything, it's probably not a good idea due to weight and the metal's negative effects on health.
